 Lead primary & secondary design team and or partners (Automation and Telecom) to conduct site survey on substations required extension or replacement of equipments (15 substations in Saudi Arabia for Jubail-II project and 8 in Qatar for Phase VIII project) to collect main basic information’s required to provide the design package, identify the requirements and report to PM the site consistency such as compatibility of existing primary equipments (CT’s, VT’s ,CVT’s) compatibility with new protection system.
 Compile final site survey along with all collected information’s & deviations list and submit it to concerned parties and client approval.
 Manage partner’s (Automations, Telecom) and C.W subcontractor scope of work through interface sheets.
 Ensure coordination’s with OHL or HV cables contractors (NCC, LS Cable, Prismyan, Nexans, Viscas, etc.) to make clear the limit of supply of each, record, prepare and circulate final signed MOM to different parties including client and consultant.
 Where required, provide technical support to PM by giving complete idea about geographical location of project substations to manage storage area and ensure coordination with local authorities for site facilities (electricity, water, telephone, Internet, etc).
 Prepare project Network SLD for all new & remote end substations and animated with project main basic information’s such as: substations package reference, bays number, milestone date, HV cable or OHL contractor’s designation and technical (official) datas such as power line length and X/R ratio, Voltage levels, etc.
Technical Scope definition, Execution strategy and time schedule:
 Establish based on tender, contract analysis and project strategy the provisional list of drawing to be produced for covered field of activity.
 Ensure that the project scope and the Clients expectations are made clear to all members of the Engineering Team.
 Working with each functional area, define the execution strategy to be used in order to deliver the optimum performance and maximum return for all parties and ensure that all changes of scope, for whatever reason, are recorded, communicated and managed in a controlled manner, and are capitalized where possible.
 Participating with the TPM to the design time evaluation and deliverables issuance dates for concerned package and commit to such budget in man days and in time delivery.
    Technical Resource Planning:
 Working with each function representative, define the necessary resources to execute the Project to meet the required quality and within the required timescales and N
