The question today for companies is to develop a progressive and sound strategy to leverage their data and information assets. Technology exists to dig into vast amount of structured or unstructured data, and extract predictive model or unnoticed relationships.
We have deployed a Hortonworks cluster, with the set-up of many ecosystem components (Hive , Pig and Hbase…). Hadoop the yellow elephant allowed us to unlock many patterns residing in those terrible bytes.
