    * Main projects : ENI Tunisia-Oued Zar in South of Tunisia (450 Meals/day) /HP-Oued Zar (600 Meals/day) /SITEP-ElBorma ( 540 Meals/day) /FOI Didon-Zarzis offshore (150 Meals/day)
    Staff managed: 256 locals
    Reporting structure: Reporting directly to the deputy general director (e-mails, daily reports, monthly food cost according to budget)
    Activity: Catering and laundry services

    TASKS: Management of catering & housekeeping services in Tunisia to support activities of 4 clients operating 3 onshore and 1 offshore (FPSO) . This includes:
    * Supervising warehouses and dry & frozen storage transported for the desert sites operations (Djerba Island : 350 km far from the desert operations) and 50 km from the port of Zarzis ;
    * Managing kitchen equipments, warehousing and food inventory & cost control of desert camps of oil companies operating onshore ;
    * Producing all the services to the agreed client standards through the catering team ;
    * Controlling all labor cost, expenses and purchases as agreed in the budget ;
    * Assisting with training, meeting and supervising staffs in the different sites by organizing scheduled visits. ;
    * Managing the quality and food hygiene of the food from the preparation in the kitchens of the camps to the delivery in other sites. ;
    * Participating in development, implementation and execution of strategy and processes related to company general logistics ;
    * Coordinate needs & requirements of company's local workforce: crew changes rotations, catering, transportation, desert access, leaves and other HSE/HR issues (256 locals). ;
    * Prepare and distribute various daily and monthly analytic activity food cost reports according to company monthly budget. ;
    * Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company's policies, procedures and guidelines. ;
    * Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times. ;
  • NEWREST MAURITANIA - DEPUTY GENERAL DIRECTOR

    Reporting structure: Reporting directly to the Managing Director Africa &Indian Ocean (e-mails, daily reports, monthly food cost according to budget)
    Activity: Catering housekeeping and maintenance

    TASKS: Overseeing, coordinating and supervising Newrest Mauritania operations of catering , housekeeping and providoring contracts offshore and onshore, in close collaboration with company various departments. This includes:
    * Recruiting staff and leading catering team and budgeting the catering operations (Catering, housekeeping in remote areas and food supplies of supply vessels and FPSO managed by a Norwegian company called Bergesen offshore ). ;
    * Supervising all the logistic operations from the main warehouse based in Nouackhott to the different sites (Mining site : Mauritania Copper Mines located 200 km from Nouackhott) and Total base in the North of Mauritania located 700 km from Nouackhott. ;
    * Running and managing a Guest house used for accommodations, meals and VIP events of most of the petroleum and services companies staff operating in Mauritania.

    * Preparing and updating food supplies for the supply vessels operating in Mauritania Waters (Tidewater Marines& Swire Pacific offshore) . ;
    * Organizing all the helicopter/vessel crew change/training and certificates of local and Indian stewards and camp boss working offshore. ;
    * Ordering all the dry/frozen provisions from overseas including clearance . ;
    * Coordinating all the food provisions with the vessel's captains and camp boss of different Newrest sites onshore and offshore. ;
    * Preparing and distributing daily, weekly and monthly safety, activity & inventory reports including food cost reports to Newrest Group. ;
    * Ensuring that stocks of main warehouse is optimal to avoid any shortage, for all supply vessels and oil/gas rigs mainly (Maersk drilling Offsore : 150 Pax). ;
    * Make sure with sites responsible that all material/equipment/food transported by catering trucks is distributed on the receiving site according to the established manifests. ;
    * Responsible for checking conformity of all the food safety management ;
    * Managing requests of the Newrest guest house banquets and Meet& greet service package . ;
    * Assist with audits / inspections of contractors / vessels / facilities and follow up on technical and operations audit action plan items for completion. ;
    * Coordinating the reception, transport, dispatching, transfers and storage of catering materials and equipment between the offshore drilling site and the various onshore warehouses and other storage facilities. ;
    * Organizing offshore/onshore site visits to control storage and HR issues ;
    * Materials, Inventory & Stock Control management ;
    * Monitoring the technical status of operations conformity with the Company Management System and industry best practices. ;
    * Auditing the application of technical specifications defined in the contract. ;
    * Conducting all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company's policies, procedures and guidelines. Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times. ;
    * Actively participating in HSE meetings and HACCP to ensure workable and appropriate solutions are implemented. ;
