A ship repairs manager with almost 4 years of experience in ship repairs projects within an international Mediteranean shipyard, and having with the Tunisian Navy 5 years of hands-on engineering experience in naval vessel repairs and building.
I have an outstanding passion to work on new challenging projects assigned to ship repair/conversion. I am also looking to develop my working experience on new builds to fulfill my affinity with project engineering and shipbuilding.
This is to prove my technical/management competence and better use my multidisciplinary background and experience.

    2016 - maintenant Managing multidisciplinary ship repairs projects (budget up to 2M€) within delivery timeframe (from 15 to 45 days) for potential clients:
    *Project initiating, planning, executing & controlling and closing with cost estimating and invoicing
    *Managing the client, relationship building, and contributing to the shipyard’s growth
    *Leadership, engineering and risk management
    - Harbor activities: onboard inspections in advance stage to prepare ship repairs project and settling offers, ship repairs in operation including commissioning after works, submarine &offshore inspections
    - Meeting recognized key persons in the ship repair industry and developing effective interpersonal and front line management skills
  • Tunisian Navy - Naval Architect

    Paris 2010 - 2015 The Tunisian Navy has the particularity of being an integrated corporation that trains executive officers who are able to exercise a wide variety of jobs at sea, it manages also repairing projects of its own fleet (identify the Scope of Work and monitor the execution). The Tunisian Navy has began in recent years to design and build patrol crafts characterized by challenging general and space arrangements and with hull forms aiming high hydrodynamic performance.
    With this diversity of activities, my duties and responsabilities as a Naval Architect working for 5 years with the Tunisian Navay were particularly enriching since they shall be adapted to requirements and specificities of each project (needs and requests of the competent authority, choice of materials, regulatory framework and to confer with repair and construction yards). It was a boosting opportunity for acquiring agility and self drive to analyze multidisciplinary technical issues and generate accurate solutions in various administrative and onsite contexts.
    With this working experince I learn to be an excellent man of land, capable of developing my leadership and emotional intelligence and being a born leader in military/academic/on board trainings and along with designing or execution team, that work on new builds or ship repairs projects :
    Examples of achievements:
    - Work in a group for engineering and construction of the first Tunisian built patrol boat (a prototype of 27m lenght)
    - Lead naval architect on detailed design and engineering project of a 52m-long patrol vessel
    - Special visits in dry docks, ship conversion and refitting projects: assessment, SoW definition, on-site follow-up and assistance.
    - Assess alignment of propelling lines afloat/in dock, if necessary engineering survey on re-alignment including on-site follow-up (repair work on bracket bearings, welding and on-site machining)
    - Training cadets and academic instructor at the Tunisian Naval Academy
