En résumé

Ever since I was a kid, I have been fond of inventions, new discoveries and anything about mechanics. The ability to create something new out of nothing just amazed me. Hence, my dream was to become a scientist or an inventor with the magic ability to create new possibilities. The first big decision in my life was the moment I decided to become a mechanical engineer. Since then, I had two masters degree in Mechanics that allowed me to develop a whole set of skills thanks to its cross training.

I have always preferred courses evaluated through projects as I noticed that I can learn more that way. It was the perfect way that allows me to develop the needed skills for the type of engineer I aspire to become.Throughout my studies, I joined my theoretical knowledge with the know-how by performing several practical internships. That had a huge impact on me as I was able to develop my design skills, my simulation skills and my coding skills during this period. In addition to the technical side, being able to integrate world-renowned companies was very beneficial for me as it allowed me to understand industry by working on interesting projects and interacting with other industrial partners. I was also able to develop some soft-skills that enables me to better integrate in companies and work with dynamic teams.

At this point, I have acquired good skills in mechanical design using computer-aided design software (in particular CATIA V5 and Solidworks), good skills in finite elements analysis using various software (especially Ansys and Abaqus) and decent programming skills using different coding languages.

Everyone who knows me describe me as an ambitious guy who works really hard to get to his goals. And at this point of my life, I am sure I have just begun. The best is yet to come.

Entreprises

  • Safran - Process engineer

Paris 2019 - 2019 Goal: Anticipate the implementation of the ultrasonic blasting process on complex aerospace parts
    * Developed the first prediction methodology of the process that cuts the simulation time by 1/360 and hence reduces the costs
    * Evaluated the procedures used to measure the control parameters on the parts and suggested solutions to improve their accuracy
*Homogenized the treatment of the parts by modifying the control parameters which allows to cut the full-coverage time

  • ARCELORMITTAL - Simulation engineer

2018 - 2018 Goal: Understand the phenomenon of embrittlement by liquid metals within welded parts in the automotive industry
*Chose the simulation method that ensures the best compromise precision/cost after simulating in 3D the cracking of the studied part
*Modeled cracking in the studied part under welding conditions by creating a thermomechanical model
  • Segula Technologies - Simulation engineer

Nanterre 2017 - 2017 Goal: Model the 3D cracking using the X-FEM method
    * Improved the modelling of 3D cracks on Ansys by exploring other French
alternatives than the classic finite elements method which reduces numerical costs
  • ENIT - Structural engineer

Tarbes 2016 - 2016 Goal: Design and produce a prototype of gas detection chamber
*Sized the mechanical components and chose the standardized elements
